TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SHOPPING WITH SHERRIFF DESIGNS

These terms and conditions will apply to all online transactions placed with Sherriff Designs. All transactions shall be governed in accordance with English Law.

PLACING ORDERS

We are pleased to accept online orders through our third party secure payment gateway using a debit or credit card, we also accept payments through PayPal, your card payment details are not held by us as these are processed by our payment gateways. All our website prices include VAT at 20% with the exception of children’s aprons, these are non-vatable.
We use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your details are safe and the information you provide is fully encrypted. Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing a locked padlock icon or an image of a key in the URL bar at the top of your screen.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the pictures and colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product, due to technical limitations, some colours may vary and in some instances the product design can vary depending on where it is cut from the fabric.
All goods shall remain the property of Sherriff Designs until payment is received in full.

The personal information that we collect about you when you place an order enables us to process your order and dispatch it in accordance with your instructions.

Like many other websites we use cookies. ‘Cookies’ are small pieces of information sent by an organisation to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow that website to recognise you when you visit, this helps improve your browsing experience whilst visiting our website, they do not identify you as an individual. DELIVERY

For deliveries within the UK

We use Royal Mail second class recorded and we will aim to deliver your order within 4 days. Sometimes, especially at peak seasons orders may take longer to reach their destination and this is beyond our control. Shipping charges are based and calculated on the value of your order placed at the time. For orders over the value of £50.00 delivery is free of charge.

For deliveries to Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia

We use DHL Global Mail and DHL Express, we will aim to deliver your order between 3 - 15 days. Sometimes, especially at peak seasons orders may take longer to reach their destination and this is beyond our control. Shipping charges are based and calculated on the value of your order placed at the time. For orders over the value of £100.00 delivery is free of charge.
Our parcels are accompanied by a customs declaration form where necessary and customers are responsible for any duty that is due.

RETURNS

We hope that you will be happy with your purchase from Sherriff Designs, if you have changed your mind and should you wish to return your item, it must be returned in a re-saleable, unwashed and unworn condition within 14 working days (we recommend the use of recorded delivery). We will be happy to exchange the item for a replacement or make a refund which will go to the card on which the purchase was made. Refunds cannot be given for the postage charged on the order or for the cost of posting returns.

FACE MASKS

Due to hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns on face masks and we hope that customers will understand this. Of course, where an item is deemed faulty upon receipt our ‘Faulty Items Policy' below will apply.

We have sourced and used the best possible materials available to us at this time in the construction of these face masks. However, like others available on the market they are not guaranteed to offer 100% protection against Covid-19. Sherriff Designs will not be held liable for anyone contracting Covid 19 whilst wearing our face masks, it is still up to the individual to follow government guidelines on staying at home, social distancing when out and good hand washing practice etc.

FAULTY ITEMS

We are always very disappointed on the very rare occasions that our customers receive a faulty item. If you have identified the fault upon receipt of purchase, please contact us and let us know the details of the fault. We will sometimes require you to email us a photograph of the fault to investigate further for you and sometimes we will ask you to return your faulty item for further investigation, if this happens we will refund you the cost of returning your item by second class registered post.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

While we make every effort possible to verify the accuracy of the information on our website we cannot guarantee that it is fully accurate.
To the widest degree allowed under the applicable law, we make no warranties that any transaction on our website will be error free or that the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs and we will not be held responsible or liable for any loss of content transmitted through our website.
Whilst we make every effort to dispatch and deliver your order within the set timeframe, we cannot be held responsible for damages or economic losses due to late or non-delivery of goods caused by the postal service and carriers.
We will not be liable for any losses or damages due to the misuse of the product. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

FUTURE CHANGES TO OUR POLICY

The terms and conditions set out in this policy govern our trading relationship with you. In the future due to possible changes in our business or due to a change in the law we may need to update our terms and conditions, please be aware that it is the customer’s responsibility to read and accept our terms and conditions before each purchase.
